After the suicide bombing in Manchester, British Prime Minister Theresa May and Manchester Officials announced they would stop sharing intelligence with the United States about their ongoing investigation because of media leaks. The United States and the United Kingdom have shared intelligence as part of the UKUSA agreement forged after World War II. I wanted to do an article that talked about the history behind the agreement, second parties (Canada, Australia and New Zealand) and how recent events could shake intelligence alliances for the United States.
